NYS Dignity for All Students Act July 1, 2013, amendment requires a 6 hour course in DASA training for individuals applying for certificate or license, including but not limited to classroom teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, school administrators or supervisors, and superintendents of schools.  They must complete training on the social patterns of harassment, bullying and discrimination, identification and mitigation of harassment, bullying and discrimination, and strategies for effectively addressing exclusion, bias and aggression in educational settings.  St. Bonaventure University is a provider of the training and will be offering courses to fulfill this new requirement for certification.  

Hilbert Campus:  March 19-24 (only available to SBU students)
March 10, 2018 @ St. Bonaventure University:  8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Hilbert Campus:  October 29-November 3 (only available to SBU students)
October 20, 2018 @ St. Bonaventure University:  8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Please be ready to begin at 8:30 am and continue until 3:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch break
